Terms

1. Quotes and prices

All advertised prices are starting prices excluding VAT. After the first conversation you get a fixed quote that does not change afterwards. Quotes are valid for 30 days.

2. Drafts and payment

A complete draft is delivered within 48 hours of go ahead and costs nothing. If you like the draft, 50 percent of the agreed price is payable and the work continues. The balance is payable on delivery. If you do not like the draft the engagement ends there, at no cost to you.

3. Changes

Two rounds of changes are included in every project. Further changes are priced up front as a fixed amount, never as an hourly rate.

4. Delivery and ownership

On full payment you own the website outright: the code, the content and the domain. No locked accounts, and you can move the site anywhere you like.

5. Material you supply

You confirm that material you contribute to the project, such as images, copy and logos, is yours or that you have permission to use it.

6. Vefrækt, our web care plan

The subscription is monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month. Without a subscription you are responsible for hosting and maintenance after delivery.

7. Follow up and liability

Thirty days of follow up is included after delivery, and faults arising in that time are fixed at no cost. Galdrasmiðjan is not liable for third party services such as hosting providers, domain registrars or payment providers.

8. Privacy

Information you send us is used only to answer your enquiry and carry out the project. It is never shared with third parties.

9. How we work

We use AI in design and in writing. People review and take responsibility for everything we deliver.

10. Governing law

Agreements under these terms are governed by Icelandic law.
